Why I Fell in Love With Travel!

As you can probably tell from my blog, I’m a massive travel fan. It’s one of the things I look forward to the most in my life. I firmly believe that travel can help us change and grow as human beings. I would not be the person I am today without the experiences I’ve had from my travels. And I am very thankful for that fact.

There are so many different reasons that people might have for going traveling. Predominantly it might just be because you want to go on holiday. But, for a lot of us, travel is used as a tool for expanding our minds and nurturing our souls. I’m going to share with you some of the reasons why I fell in love with travel in the first place.

Every Day is an Adventure

The thing that most people love about travel is that every day is an adventure. You are always seeing and experiencing something new. In fact, a lot of the time you never know what tomorrow is going to bring. And that’s what I like so much about travel. I loved the idea of new adventures and experiences. I love the fact that I get to enjoy something new each day, and I get to experience things I might never have been able to.

It Takes My Breath Away

Then there is the fact that travel can be awe-inspiring and breath-taking. I have visited a lot of cities and countries in my life. And I have found that there will always be something that takes my breath away. For instance, getting up close and personal with something like the Brooklyn Bridge is truly unique.

Helps Me Learn New Languages

I love the idea of learning new languages. Being bilingual is very sensual and can open doors in life that might otherwise be closed. Take it from me, travel can help you to learn and develop your skills at new languages. When you travel to other countries, you can use the opportunity to practice and perfect the language you’re learning. This helps with learning it much quicker, and picking up local dialects.

I See a Different Side to the World

As human beings, we need to open ourselves up to new experiences and cultures. It’s vital to see different sides to the world and to observe how other cultures operate. Traveling to somewhere like South Africa has a completely different dynamic to, say, the American Midwest. And it’s important to get alternative experiences and points of view. I feel these make us more rounded and intelligent individuals.

There are so many reasons I love to travel, and it remains an important part of my life. I try to get away at least once a year if I possibly can. Traveling is a hugely influential part of who I am as a person, and I would recommend it to anybody. You can see from the points on this list why I fell in love with travel in the first place.
