Everyone loves to know about the miracle foods that help you lose weight, but they tend to neglect the miracle drinks. On the other side of the coin, there are as many liquids that can aid weight loss as there are foods. They are full of nutrients and antioxidants that fight the build of fat and tackle fat at its source. If you are not aware of the miracle drinks that I am talking about, you are in luck. I have made a list of the ones that I think make losing weight easier. Not only are they good for you, but they are enjoyable to drink too!

Water

Okay, when I said miracle drink your mind probably invented some image of a doctor in a laboratory cooking up a wicked concoction. But, the following drinks are far from that because they are everyday drinks. And, the most common and essential everyday drink is water. What makes water so important for weight loss? To begin with, it has almost zero calories. I don’t know about you, but I forget that juice and the likes have calories and sugars that are not good for my body. By simply cutting them out for water, you can shave off tens of unnecessary calories a day. Also, water kick starts the metabolism. So, come the first meal of the day, your body will be highly efficient at burning off calories.

Smoothies

I don’t know why it didn’t hit me before, but I suddenly realised that I could blend my five a day into one simple drink. Now, I cannot go a day without making a smoothie or a shake. The best thing about them is that you can put a range of different fruits in the blender, and it still tastes beautiful. I know people who like to make smoothies with raw eggs and veg, like something from a Rocky film! Personally, that is too much for me to handle. I stick to the conventional smoothies and feel great!

Green Tea

Green tea used to be a trade secret that weight loss experts could keep up their sleeves, but now the cat is out of the bag. Ask anyone who is trying to lose weight and they will be stocking up on green tea. But, just because it isn’t a secret anymore doesn’t mean it is not useful. In fact, it is probably the most effective drink on my list. The simple fact is that green tea has plenty of antioxidants that are brilliant at breaking down fat. So, instead of building it up and storing it for the winter, it drops off. Plus, the nutrients boosts the metabolism, and a fast metabolism is essential to shedding those unwanted pounds.

Coffee

Rejoice! When I heard that coffee is good for losing weight, I nearly hit the roof! Not that the other drinks are boring or disgusting, but I love coffee, so it was a nice surprise. Apparently, caffeine stimulates the body’s ability to thermogenesis, which is a smart way of saying it helps burn calories. And, as any coffee lover will know, it suppresses the appetite. Tea is also a good option if you are not a fan of coffee.

Mix these with weight loss foods and you will see the results in no time!
