Based on different body shapes (the pear shape, the apple shape, the hour glass, the rectangle shape and the OX legs, we can choose different types of skirts that at most suitable for us:
- The Pear Shape: The widest part of your body is around your hips and thighs.
A line skirts are the best for pear shape, either above the knee or over the knee.
The Apple Shape: You have a slim lower body and carry weight around your middle.
The key point for this body shape to show off your slimmer legs. Straight lined short skirts over the knees would be the most suitable style. To make the middle section appear less heavy, just put on a jacket.
The Hour Glass: If you are curvy with a tiny waist.
If you belong to this body type, wear high waist skirt to show off your enviable waist line. Length of skirt depends on your personal taste.
The Rectangle Shape – if you are long and lean.
To create the illusion of having lots of curves, wear ruffles, bows and skirts with embellishment details.
OX Legs: Everybody shape could have either O or X shaped legs.
If this bothers you, wear a midi or maxi pencil skirt with a side slit. Problem solved!
